I'd like to ask visitors to our site to share memories or photos; memories as co-workers, friends school-mates, or family.  I've come to realize that there are so many people that have memories and stories about Bruce that I've never heard or have forgotten, and won't be able to enjoy unless you share them with me.  I'm trying to build a spot where we can remember and enjoy photos and thoughts and prayers and silliness over the years.  I can't begin to tell you all how much your prayers, and hugs, and cards, and flowers, and kind words and tears have meant to me as I learn to live with the grief that comes from loving so deeply.

I will be adding some stuff to this blog area from time to time that might spark some thoughts or memories and you can add comments here, or email me and I will add them to the site.  Bless you - it's a work in progress to honor and remember Bruce in all his life roles and to help me and all who mourn him.

While attending visitation for George Schmidt's funeral, Chad Moll (Ret.) told me about an incident he remembers.  A woman was being argumentative and shouted "I'll have your badge!"  Bruce put his hands on the top Frame of her car door, leaned over and said "Lady, If you can take this badge from me - you can have it!"
